Policy
Our Approach
The Gallatin Watershed Council engages in policy and education initiatives that are guided by the Watershed Approach. We prioritize solutions that are community-led, based on science, and that represent the diverse needs and interests of stakeholders across the Gallatin Watershed. In all of our work, we strive for consensus. Our policy goals are to educate the public and decision makers on key issues related to water quality, water availability, and land use so that policies and plans are well-informed, well-supported, and enduring.
