Lower Gallatin Watershed Cleanup - Trash and Treasure

The Lower Gallatin Watershed Cleanup on June 11th unveiled a variety of treasures - rusty chairs, deer crossing signs, cutlery sets, and even a treasure or two (a shiny ring!)

Over 20 volunteers covered four well trafficked sites in the watershed, and collected 54 cubic feet in trash.

A big thank you to Odell Brewing for showing interest in the health of the LGW and partnering with us on this event, and for keeping us fueled with snacks and beers! Another big thanks to Montana Aleworks for hosting us after the cleanup.

We appreciate everyone who came and dedicated their time - our volunteers and Watershed Stewards are simply the best out there, we appreciate all that you do!

Stay tuned for more details on our Annual River Cleanup at the end of August!
