2025 Spring Gallatin Watershed Cleanup

Saturday, May 17, 2:00-4:00 p.m.

Help us clean up our watershed before the busy recreation season begins! Each spring, garbage that was buried beneath the snow is washed downstream into our local waterways. Removing waste from our local streams, wetlands, and trails improves the quality of water, soil, and habitat for the people and critters in our area and for our downstream neighbors.

Volunteer: Join the Gallatin Watershed Council at the 2025 Spring Gallatin Watershed Cleanup on Saturday, May 17, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cleanup trash across the Lower Gallatin Watershed as either a team leader or a team member. Team leaders are responsible for attending a team leader happy hour the week of the event to collect supplies, then distributing supplies and relaying safety information and protocol to their team members. Detailed responsibilities are linked below. You will receive additional information via email closer to the event date.

Celebrate: A volunteer celebration will immediately follow the cleanup at Lindley Park. The celebration will begin at 5:00 p.m. with announcements and prizes at 5:15 p.m.
